Take the Hwy. 16 north (Taylorsville/Conover) exit off of I-40. Travel about 20 miles. You will pass Ford and Chevrolet dealerships on the left as you come into town. Go through the first light, cross over Hwy. 64-90, and turn right at the next light onto the highway. Travel about one mile to a traffic light at Liledoun Rd. Turn right at this light. You will pass the ACHS tennis courts, the Alexander Co. Board of Education building, and the south entrance to ACHS on your left. Continue on to the next light. At this light, you will see the ACHS softball field on the right. If you are coming for a softball or soccer game, go through the light and parking is on the right. To reach ACHS, turn left at the light. The school is ahead on the left.

From Hwy. 321 turn onto Hwy. 18 east. Travel about two miles to Hwy. 64-90. Turn right on Hwy. 64-90 and travel east approximately 20 miles. Go through the first light at Brushy Mtn. Golf Course. At the next light, turn left onto Liledoun Rd. You will pass the ACHS tennis courts, the Alexander Co. Board of Education building, and the south entrance to ACHS on your left. Continue on to the next light. At this light, you will see the ACHS softball field on the right. For softball or soccer, go straight through the light and parking is ahead on the right. To reach ACHS, turn left at the light. The school is ahead on the left.
